I first met Dr. Osafo while hospitalized for COPD Exacerbation, in September 2005. His vivid description of death from smoking and COPD convinced me to stop smoking on the 23 of September 2005. After more Pulmonary problems, I changed lung doctors and Dr. Osafo became my new lung doctor in February 2008. His bedside manner and contagious smile sets you at ease and makes me feel like I am his only patient. Under Dr. Osafo's care my COPD has become well managed and I have not had an episode in over three years. In my opinion, Dr. Osafo has been a life savior for me. I would and will recommend Dr. Osafo to anyone suffering with pulmonary problems.

I first became acquainted with Dr. Osafo in 2005. He was called in by the hospital to provide services to my wife who was being treated for cancer. Over the next several years Dr. Osafo treated my wife during three hospitalizations. And in between, we saw him in his office for follow-up treatment. His services were always effective and agreeable.

Beyond the bare facts of competence, there is more to be said. We found the good doctor to be a quiet but compelling force in the treatment of disease and illness. We knew what he was doing and where he wanted to take us. And in the arena of a large hospital where different doctors and nurses work as a team he provided excellent guidance.

In our case, Dr. Osafo played a significant role in both critical care and his specialty of pulmonary. His bearing was such that he calmed our anxiety and put us at ease. Over the years since, I have not forgotten his commitment to us. I remain grateful.
